Chickpea Blondies

Will any animals be harmed in the making of this recipe?
Will this be a big meal or a sweet treat or a little snack to keep me going before I faint from the jaysus hunger?
How many bellies will it feed? You and your friends/family
Spoon, cups, blenders, hands or fingers?
Food Processor.
Medium-size baking dish.
How long will I have to refer to this recipe until it's in the goddamn oven?
How long will I be waiting to get eating?

Chickpeas? Is this chick for real? Oh yes she is! Trust me…or don’t. Whatevs Just try them though. Super easy, super delicious and in fairness, pretty super healthy also! What could go wrong?

  • Tin of Chickpea
  • 125 Grams
    Natural/Organic Peanut Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons
    Honey or Agave
  • Vanilla pod, seeds removed.
  • Pinch of Himalayan Salt
  • Dash of coconut milk
  • 35 Grams
    70% Dark Chocolate


  1. Line your baking dish with greaseproof paper. Preheat oven to 180/160 C or Gas 4.

  2. Place chickpeas, peanut butter and agave in food processor. Blitz it baby!

  3. Add a dash of coconut milk if it's too thick.

  4. Stir in vanilla seeds and sprinkle in a scattering of salt.

  5. Pour mix into baking dish and grate dark chocolate all over, creating a layer of chocolate on top of mix.

  6. Bake for 30-35 mins. Leave to cool before slicing.

  7. Serve with a cup of Pukka tea. Yum!
